The fundamental of Calvin’s teachings lie in the emphasis on the literal reading of the Christian scriptures. He was persistent in his approach when he insisted on reading everything literally. Anything which was not overtly mentioned or not according to the exact words of the scriptures was not taken and was discarded, on the other hand if something was mentioned explicitly it had to be followed exactly taking and interpreting the literal meaning only.  He went beyond his mentor Zwingli’s model when Calvin asserted that not only should all the faith be based on the literal reading of Scriptures, but other things like church organization, political organization, and the social structure should confirm to the literal details of the scriptures.

(Hooker)

Calvin was the first one to separate the church and the government as two separate entities although ruled by the scriptures. He argued for two types of government in compendium of theology, “The Institutes of the Christian Religion.”

One government regulates the religious or inward feature of humanity, that is, spiritual government, and
One government rules the outer part of human life, that is, secular government.

Social skills are an important part of life for every individual. Unfortunately, they often do not come naturally and that is why people skills need to be taught. Here are three ways to help you when teaching social skills to others.

First is to exemplify social skills. In other words, be an example. If a teacher is teaching people skills to children, in her interaction with kids, she needs to be a good example, both in her conversation skills and also in her politeness.

Second, the teacher needs to teach certain techniques for social skills. And this is where a person needs to read up and find which social skills work best. Good people skills basically come down to showing interest in the other person and listening.

That’s a start. So, the teacher can teach kids, or adults, how to show interest and be better listeners. Showing interest can be as simple as looking at the other person in the face or nodding their head in agreement.

Active listening means that you are following along with what is being said.

Third, teaching human relationship skills involves helping the students practice. And practicing can be as simple as role playing, where two people role play back and forth in a conversation, or how to greet or introduce one another. And this practice will help the student get it in their mind so they will learn.

Making the hard decision to educate your autistic child in mainstream education is never going to be an easy one.

Generally speaking a lot of the methods used in mainstream education will not necessarily suit an autistic youngster.

For example most normally developing children will be able to learn using various methods like for example visually, kinesthetically and using auditory learning.

Where as with the autistic child this may not be the case and there for certain conditions within the mainstream classroom should be taken into account before the autistic youngster starts school.

For example teaching students with autism can be helped by remembering most autistic children will be visual learners and will respond better to lessons that are taught visually.

So by adding pictures, images and visual cues or prompts to lessons especially those lessons that involve class teaching will improve the chances of the autistic student understanding and staying focused.

Most autistic children if in mainstream education will have the ability to cope with the education aspect of mainstream school but will probably struggle with the social, communication, imagination and interaction aspects of a normal classroom.

These are the main areas of difficulty for most autistic youngsters.

They lack the social and communication abilities of their normally developing peers, which can lead to social isolation and at times even bullying.

I am from Vancouver Canada and one of the hardest things right now in both Canada and the U.S is finding a good job. The job markets are so bad that even if you spent tons of money and time getting some kind of degree, it is still hard to find a descent paying job.

People get tried or frustrated after getting turned down for jobs that they have already studied for at school. You start to think what am I going to do and what skills do I have? When I was put in this situation about 5 years, I said to myself hey I can speak English maybe I could make money doing that? When I hit up the web for answers I was shocked to see how many jobs were available worldwide with great pay, visa sponsorship, free accommodations and training.

Among all other languages, English is the most famous and people all over the world are trying to learn it. The interests of all these people created hundreds of English schools throughout the world.

Most of these companies have recruiters in your very country and will offer incentives to work as an English teacher abroad. Asian English companies are always looking for new English teachers and the best thing is you already have the experience, you can speak English. Some of the only things you will need to start getting paid to see the world are a clean criminal record, up to date passport and a working visa for the country you are going to enter.

Apart from the major task of teaching, teachers must spend most of their time on making lesson plans, formulating tests and computing grades. All these tasks invade so much time that they have to bring home papers for checking. Time for family is cut down at the highest rate. To remedy this problem, educators suggest teacher susing rubrics for checking.

Rubrics as a grading system make use of assigned numbers or letters to grade the work of a particular student. Once this is done, a student can even grade his own work himself, but with the guidance of the teacher of course. It is not easy to make a rubric for a particular task given to a student, but once a rubric is materialized, it makes it easy to grade every single task a student is assigned in whatever subject he has in the course for each grade or year level.

Rubrics make an objective and justifiable grading to a particular student doing away with biases and prejudices, especially for papers involving essay.

Aside from making the grading system simplified, rubrics save time because it’s a quick way to assign the grades to the student’s work. Because of this, a teacher can have more time for other tasks such as taking care of the family needs as soon as one gets home. The innumerable plaguing tasks are also eliminated because the bulk of the work of a teacher is focused mainly on checking, therefore the use of rubrics in teaching should be encouraged.
